Healthy Meals & Snacks to Keep You Energized

Check out some of my favorite articles & sites below for some healthy-eating inspiration:

How You’ll Benefit

If you spend a few minutes in the morning to prepare healthy lunch/snacks, you’ll notice a change in your energy levels throughout the day. Heavy carbs & sugars will make you crash and contribute to afternoon sluggishness. Replace convenience foods and expensive lunches with homemade salads, whole grains, lean proteins, fresh veggies & fruits, yogurt, nut butters, and nuts/seeds, etc. These foods will nourish your mind and help keep you alert.

Making Time to Cook

Try these tips to save you time & money.  Before heading to the grocery store, select some recipes and snack ideas and then make a list. Try your best to get in and out of the store without deviating from the list. If you have time before you start your work week to make a few meals, snacks, etc., this will save you time throughout the week. If not, no worries at all as you can whip up quick meals and snacks as you have time. Many things can be chopped up, cooked and enjoyed within 15-20 minutes.

Be Well,

Nicole
