I’m just obsessed with apples and peanut butter. It’s healthy, vegan and full of fiber and protein. For added nutritional benefits, you can add a few teaspoons of unsweetened coconut flakes and flax meal. It’s so delicious, fast and easy to make. Here’s how:
- Peel and chop one medium sized Gala Apple (into cubes or slices)
- Peanut butter- chunky or smooth (I get carried away and usually add a few TBL but be careful since it’s really fattening!)
- TSP of each: Flax meal and Coconut flakes
Put the above ingredients in a medium sized bowl and stir so that everything gets coated with the peanut butter mixture. Serve with a small mug of homemade hot chocolate for a real (healthy) splurge. Enjoy!
