*Healthy* Fall Recipes to Warm the Soul

IMG_5716Nothing’s better than a piping-hot bowl of soup on a COLD day.  It’s good for your body to eat with the seasons and incorporating seasonal produce into soups and stews is a great way to do this.

The cooler weather leaves many of us craving comfort foods like rich hot chocolate, sweet apple cider and savory muffins and breads. The great news is that are are plenty of ways to enjoy your favorite fall comfort foods without feeling guilty.  Here are a few of my favorite fall recipes; feel free to substitute some of the ingredients to your taste and enjoy.  Although most are vegan or vegetarian, if you’re a meat eater you can adapt the recipe accordingly.  Happy fall!
